Her eye closed just as quickly as it had opened, the teen attempting to return to her meditation. Maybe she would be able to get a good session in thanks to the silence, rather ideal conditions for one who was attempting to clear their mind. Well, usually silence was key, but it seemed that this time, that wasn't the case.

Her right leg twitched ever so slightly, her attempts at clearing her mind failing. Fidgeting like that was a simple sign that something was bothering her, the young hybrid clearly distracted by the lack of distractions. Twitching once more, Cacao decided on just how she'd solve this problem.

Opening her eyes, the teen got to her feet and approached the door slowly. Her hand reached towards the locking mechanism and switched it off. Then it moved towards the handle, grabbing onto it and slowly turning it to open the door...

And near instantly, her senses were assaulted with the sound of music blaring at its highest volume. The smell of sweat filled the air, though she had gotten used to that. But the sheer loudness of the music had caught her completely off guard, her hands shooting up to cover her ears.

One of her eyes closed in response to the pain caused by the sheer volume of the music, Cacao stood in the doorway. Confusion nibbled at the back of her mind, the question of how she hadn't heard the music playing while in the meditation room obviously fresh in her thoughts. She quickly looked around, trying to search for some answer.

She found it rather quickly, noticing a piece of paper attached to the outer wall of the meditation room, right near the door. She read it over rather quickly and found herself confused once more. Two questions had replaced the first, both rather obvious.

The first was how they had even managed to soundproof a room, something that she doubted she'd get an answer to thanks to the lack of a desire to ask. The second was how she had missed the piece of paper in the first place. Either way, both questions didn't matter at this point since neither'd shut the music off or stop the ringing in her ears...

She slammed the door to the room behind her, trying to ignore the rather terrible music that played at the highest volume the speakers could manage. How anyone could actually train with that going on was beyond her. But she didn't plan on staying much longer anyways.

She sat with her back pressed against the door, waiting for the ringing in her ears to stop. Glancing behind her, she wondered why she had even bothered being annoyed by the silence in the first place. If only she had known that some idiot would set the volume on the stereo so high..

Cacao's eyes shot open, having accidentally fallen asleep while trying to meditate. She sighed as she slowly moved to push herself off the floor, having fallen sideways from her sitting position in the middle of the room. A silent yawn escaped her mouth, the young hybrid getting to her feet.

Rubbing her eyes, she approached the door, feeling a tad stiff since the meditation mats covering the floor weren't exactly the most comfortable thing in the world to sleep on. She slowly reached up towards the door handle when she remembered something incredibly obvious. Glancing slightly upwards, she noticed that the lock was still set.

Unlocking the door, she slowly turned the handle to open the damn thing. She had expected the sound of music to nearly deafen her once more, one hand covering an ear. But, surprisingly, there was no music to be heard...and barely a soul was in the dojo at this point in time.

A brow raised in confusion, the young hybrid not quite realizing yet that she had been asleep for quite a while. She glanced around the main hall, half expecting someone to pop out from the corner to attempt to scare her. Well, that or try to get her to spar with them since she'd likely be the only one there.

But no one did, the teen heading towards the front counter with the expectation that someone wasn't even there. But then she stopped, remembering that she could just check the area with a certain ability that she had picked up during the time she had spent here as of late. She closed her eyes and focused, attempting to sense the energies of anyone who remained within the confines of the building.

It took a few seconds, but she managed the technique well enough considering the fact that she was still half asleep. There were a few kis here and there throughout the dojo, one or two in one of the remaining meditation rooms and a few in one of the private sparring areas.
Cacao blinked.
She never did understand why there were private sparring chambers.

She shrugged it off and glanced in the direction of the front desk. Her senses told her that, thankfully, there was someone actually there for once. Ceasing her attempts to sense the kis of those within the dojo, she continued towards her destination. Another yawn left the teenage hybrid as she approached her destination.

Just as she was about to reach the desk, she tripped and fell flat on her face. Glancing behind her to see what the cause of her fall had been, she noticed a door knob on the ground. Cacao blinked and turned around, moving to pick it up only for the damn thing to roll away before she could.

Confusion etched itself into her expression, wondering just how the door knob had managed to roll away on its own. But she wasn't about to let the question of how a door knob could move on its own bother her. She slowly got to her feet, now wide awake thanks to the fall.

Looking up as she got up, she noticed a small poster on the wall. Cacao blinked and approached it, curious as to what the small piece of paper was advertising, if anyything at all. For all she knew, it could be a rather obvious training tip left by one of the people who came to train here that thought they knew what they were doing.

That or it could be some crudely written inappropriate message. But there was no way of knowing unless she looked, the young hybrid pulling the notice off the wall and looking it over rather quickly. It was an advertisement for the tournament on Papaya Island.

She paused, wondering how she hadn't heard about something like that beforehand. The paper contained pretty general information about the event, listing the requirements for entry. Did she have the hundred zenie required to enter the tournament?

She was pretty sure that she did, so that wasn't something that she had to worry about. As she continued to read the little announcement, she noticed something towards the bottom of the page. Cacao paused once more, confusion showing on her face as she reread the line.

The 1000 zenie wasn't what had befuddled her, of course. That was expected for an event where the entry required one to pay. What had caught her off guard was the mention of a 'Dragon Ball' or something like that. And of course, having never heard of it before, she nearly came to the obvious conclusion...

But then she noticed the little symbol below the listings for the prize, a small orb with a few stars on it. Obviously, she wondered whether or not this was the ball mentioned or just some sort of symbol for the tournament itself. But then again, it really didn't matter that much.

As long as it wasn't the first thing that had popped into her head, it really didn't matter. She was pretty sure it wasn't anyways, considering the fact that it'd likely scar whoever won it for life. That or some sick bastard would enjoy the idea of it...

She reread the paper once more, searching for any details she might've missed the first time that she had read through it. But, of course, she hadn't missed a single thing. However, the announcement lacked one simple thing necessary for one to enter the tournament.

She frowned, placing the paper back on the wall where she had found it. She folded her arms across her chest and wondered why the heck they wouldn't include that kind of information on a flyer for the event. How the hell was she supposed to get to the tournament if she didn't know how to get to Papaya Island?!

1.
How could they forget to list directions to the island where the event the paper advertised was taking place? That had to be some huge level of incompetence, she noted mentally. Glaring at the piece of paper, she headed away from the front desk.

2.
She stood near the middle of the main entry hall, a place in the dojo that was commonly used for sparring matches when some didn't want to use the private sparring chambers. Cacao was a tad annoyed, questioning how the hell she'd reach the island without any directions at all. Noticing a punching bag in the corner, she approached it.

3.
Her fist slammed into the bag, the young hybrid still trying to figure out how she'd find her way to the tournament without some form of directions. Well, at least training would help her forget the annoyance. Well, that or make it worse if her training somehow went wrong.
