As Ian's Nimbus flew over the city and headed for the Dojo, he was looking off into the horizon, completely overcome by the images implanted in his mind from the mere moments he'd spent looking at the city in the north that had been annihilated.

The Nimbus wasn't going full speed at this point, since Ian was headed for the dojo and it didn't want to descend at such a fast pace. It began its decent in said manner and Ian continued being stuck on that train of thought.

Floating high above the city, Raynak sits on his Nimbus, with his arms folded and eyes shut...
"Ah... Yes... I can feel it all.... So many different powers... All over the world.... It's so strange and yet, so familiar at the same time... This new found power... It's good, but it's not enough..."

"I need to become stronger myself... My own ki... Still let's see..." Focusing a bit harder, Raynak began to notice differences in the ki signals, "Ah.... If I focus more, I can actuall give face and indentity to the ki signals. Very interesting..."

"Hmm... Huh? Ian...?" Raynak smiles at that, "Oh cool! I can actually sense and pinpoint his individual ki... I've clearly underestimated the usefulness of this ability. It'll help me keep track of him, just incase he runs into any trouble. I know a fading ki signal, isn't a good sign... Don't need anyone to tell me that... Ecspecially if it's my buddy Ian's ki."

"Weird... Korin said there were some powerful guys runnin' around... Right....? If that's so, then why can't I sense any unusally high ki signals...?" Raynak opened his eyes at that, scratching the back of his head, "Am I already losing touch with my ability...?"

"No... There's something not right about it... I can even sense big brother Noru... And Korin... If I can sense them, and Ian, I should be able to sense other powerful ki signals as well..." Brining his hand down, Raynak folds his arms once more, looking down to the city below, "Something just ain't right about it..."

"Still, if that be the case, and these guys are that powerful that those people will need our help... Then... I may have to take drastic measures..." Unfolding his arms, Raynak looks ahead of him now into the distance.

"I remember seeing at least two of them.... Though there might have been three of them... I can't remember fully. I was distracted trying to catch Korin. If there were three of them, plus me and Ian... That's five..." Raynak's eyes widen a bit at that, "Are they really that powerful...? They can't be..."
|
|

Post by Akiza on Feb 8, 2010 3:04:10 GMT -5
"Me and Ian are strong enough! Korin doesn't know what he's talking about! Especially with the training we've been doing! Wait though..." Raynak catches himself, his eyes returning to normal... "How may guys are we talkin' about here...? Maybe there are like....five or six of them... Gotta be. That's why they need the extra help. Either that, or they're weak..."
|
|
|
Post by Akiza on Feb 8, 2010 3:06:41 GMT -5
"Personally, I'm leaning more towards the latter... They're weaklings... Still, it's better to be safe than sorry... We may need a bit of an edge... Ian and me..." Raynak stands at that, still looking to the distance. He was faced with a bit of a difficult desicion now... He was a bit reluctant to go through with it....

"I.... I have to go home... To Namek... I have to speak with Father Guru... He'll know what's best... I'm not gonna waste my time talking to big brother Noru... So... Looks like I'm gonna have to take a bit of a vacation... I hope Ian will be alright... I have to make it quick... If I don't hurry, Ian could end up getting hurt without my help..."
With his mind set, Raynak speeds off on his Nimbus.

Nachi reached out to grab the lamp post... and pushed down hard with both feet at the ground as she pulled up on the pole... growling, she slowly begins to up-heave the thing from the ground... but it's really tough... so this could take a short while.

Ace exhales a deep breath of relief. "Glad I was wrong, though I'm not really sure how I could've been right in the first place." Shaking his head, he stretches slightly for a second or so, then just waits to see what will happen with the lamp post.

Cacao let out a sigh as she watched young Nachi try to rip the lamp post from the ground, realizing that there was a damn good chance the little girl would be able to. After all, she had managed to lift and throw a truck with some ease. The hybrid wasn't quite sure if she should try to stop the disgruntled child or just sit back and watch to see what she'd do with it. Then again, anyone who had been around Nachi for the past few minutes would know just what she was up to and the insanity that'd follow.

While the innocent who was injured by the truck crashing through the building earlier screams in more pain... Nachi growls and continues to pull the steet lamp up from the ground... the ground breaks apart and wires emerge, tugging the lamp as Nachi tries to lift it.

Ace took half a step back. "Ah jeeze... This is gonna get hectic..." In his head, a debate was raging. Stop Nachi now somehow, or wait for her to pull the lamp out of the ground and cause more chaos and try to stop her then?
Both seemed like bad choices if he was honest with himself, but the former seemed a little better. But...he had no clue how to do so. Actually, he knew how to, he was just reluctant to. Attacking a child, even one as strong as Nachi, was against his morals.
"Caught between my own morals and the right thing to do... Jeeze..."

Cacao grimaced as she heard the screams of pain from those who had been injured during the truck incident, deciding herself what to do. She knew she couldn't manage to beat the child in a contest of strength, but she had an idea of what to do to stop her from ripping her out the lamp post. But she had no idea how balanced the thing would be if the little girl let go.
She tapped Ace on the shoulder to get his attention. She'd point towards the building the truck had gone through once she managed to, seeming to tell the Kai to go deal with the people injured because of that. This seemed to imply that she'd try to keep Nachi under control while he took care of that. Of course, that wouldn't matter if he didn't notice.

The wires begin to break, and finally, Nachi rips the street lamp from the ground... but in the process, she gets catapulted in to the air by the force of her own legs that were pushing down on the ground... the street lamp goes straight through a window on some upper floor in some building that was behind Nachi... someone screams, but only in fright as they got the fuck outta the way of that thing... no injuries this time.

Ace turned his head toward Cacao when she tapped him on the shoulder. Following where she pointed, he blinked once, twice...then, "Alright, that. I can do. Good luck with her," he said, meaning Nachi, before turning towards the building that had gotten truck-ed, and running toward it.
"Alright, hero time..." he mumbled, reaching the truck. He looked around it and grimaced. "Well, that is going to leave a mark... Hang on, I'm here to help."

Cacao watched as Nachi somehow launched the damn lamp post through a building, beginning to regret having decided to make sure the child didn't accidentally maim something or someone. But all she could do for now was watch the four year old and try to think of some way to prevent her from causing any more insanity. That was likely going to be far harder than she could ever imagine...

There Nachi dangled, hanging on to the lamp post... she began to try to wiggle the thing loose from the window... and slowly but surely it was working.

Cacao frowned, taking a few steps back as she watched the four year old attempt to get the lamp post unstuck. Taking a deep breath, she prepared herself to jump up and reach the floor the young troublemaker was currently on. She had no idea if she could actually land accurately up there since she had never tried to jump that high.

"Alright, hang on... Your leg is under the truck..." Ace said to the frantic injured person. "I'll try and lift it a little, you get out of the way, I'm not going to be able to lift it more than a few inches, and probably only for a few seconds. Ready?"
The person nodded frantically, placing his hands on the ground to push back when the truck was lifted.
"Okay... Here goes." Ace placed his hands on the side of the truck, and slid them down to the edge of the truck, gripping it. He then strained with all of the strength he had, lifting the truck slowly a few inches, and watching as the man scrambled back. With a groan, he let the truck fall again. "Okay...there you go... Jeeze, trucks are heavy..."

And then... the lamp post was free from the window, and Nachi fell with it to the ground... crashing down with a thud, before the lamp post would then topple, the glass of its bulb shattering to pieces on the ground beside her.

"Can you make it to a hospital or something by yourself?" Ace asked the man on the ground.
"I think I can..." he said, trying to stand.
Ace helped him up. "Okay, be careful, but move quick. I think more shit is about to hit the fan, as it were." He watched as the man limped away, then turned and ran back to where Nachi and Cacao. Seeing the busted lamp, he shook his head. "Jeeze...this would've been a good day to go out exploring..."

Pushing herself up, Nachi shakes her head a little, then reaches down to grab the lamp post, and raise it up above her head, held horizontally. She turns around... meaning the whole thing swings around... and she considers what to do with it.

Ace takes a step back. "Ah jeeze...a lamp post would probably hurt just as much as a tree...if not more because it's made of metal..." He shook his head several times, then sighed. "I don't know what you're planning on doing with that..." he said after a moment. "But don't cause any more trouble... Please?"
This coming from the one who blew up her tree...

"Hmph!" Nachi turned her head from Ace... the meanie who blew up her tree... and decided to close her eyes... and with the pole, she began spinning around, and shifted the light pole so she had it held at one end in both hands... oh crap... better not step close...

Ace took a few more steps back, but then stopped. "This doesn't look good..." he said to himself. He had a thought to try and stop her from spinning, but the only ideas he had would either hurt her most likely, or just make her even more mad, neither of which were very appealing. So, he just tensed slightly, ready for anything. "I have a bad feeling about this..."
