The hospital located in Hercule City, a place that's frequently packed with martial artists who had managed to injure themselves in often hilarious ways. The perfect place to get medical treatment, though it might often be filled with people. Thankfully, it's not as badly understaffed as some hospitals are due to the frequent patient visits...

Cacao groaned as consciousness returned to her, having collapsed and lost consciousness at some point. She couldn't quite remember why, but she knew she had been pretty badly injured. She hadn't yet realized where the hell she was.

A yawn followed the groan, her arm moving to stretch outwards when she felt a tug slightly above her wrist. Of course, she ignored it for the moment. After all, she was still damn near half asleep.

Still opposed to opening her eyes just yet, she lay on the hospital bed. Her senses told her that she was in a place where quite a lot of other people had gathered. She didn't quite remember that she had been headed to a hospital before collapsing.

A second yawn escaped her as she shifted on the rather uncomfortable hospital mattress, now laying on her side. That probably wasn't the best of ideas considering the fact that her back may possibly hurt. And of course, she realized that rather quickly.

Shifting back onto her stomach, she pressed her face against the pillow beneath her head. She paused, having not even noticed the fluffy thing earlier. Her eyes slowly began to open, young Cacao wondering just where she was.

Once opened, her eyes met white, obviously that of the pillow. After all, she was lying with her face in it. Letting out a third yawn, she turned her head to the right to see what else was in the room.

She blinked, noticing a small bag attached to what appeared to be a metal post. Her brow raised, not yet noticing the contents of said bag. Probably for the best considering that if she did, she might accidentally do something stupid.

Cacao paused, staring directly at the bag, eyes a little wide. Within it was quite a bit of blood, said bag transferring it into her body. Shocked, she accidentally jerked back, yanking the IV right out of her arm.

Pain helped make it clear that that was likely not the best of ideas, the young hybrid grimacing. Thankfully, the blood didn't squirt out like a fountain like you'd see in one of those badly made horror films. It did start to drip out of the tiny hole, though.

Ignoring that fact for the moment, she moved to get up, wincing as she felt a slight pain in her back. And with that pain came memories of the day previous, unfortunately enough. Cacao promptly collapsed back onto the bed.,

She immediately recalled the monstrously strong being that she had faced, still unable to tell just how strong the being had been. That was thanks to the fact it had lacked a ki signal. If she ever ran into Ares again, she'd need to find some way to get past that disadvantage.

After all, she had become way too used to being able to tell where people were by their ki. It was a bit odd to fight without that advantage on her side. She glanced at the wall just behind the bed, her annoyance returning.

And if her opponent could sense her energy, that'd make it even harder to catch the bastard off guard. Considering how strong he seemed to be during their encounter, that was likely the only option she had at the moment. After all, she didn't exactly have the most varied of movesets.

And then there was the trick that Ares had managed when he put his hand on her. She still had no idea how why her ki had begun to disappear, but she figured that it was likely a technique of her opponents. But even with all the time she had spent in Hercule City's dojo, she had never seen anything like it.

At least she knew how to break the bastard's grip if she needed to. Though she likely wouldn't get more than one shot at it. And she'd likely need to make use of Butterfly to get that chance.

She could only hope that he could use that technique only once, otherwise it'd mean a quick end to their fight if she couldn't. Of course, there was still the matter of her being sent flying by the android's kick despite putting up a guard. That obviously meant he was considerably physically stronger than her.

She had never really took pride in being the strongest of fighters when it came to punches and what not, though. Cacao relied more of speed when dealing with an opponent to prevent herself from being hit. Considering her opponent seemed to be fasting than her, Cacao nearly uttered a swear and buried her head in her pillow once more.

She didn't really know what exactly she was going to do if she ran into the android again. Cacao could only hope that she'd get stronger if they ever met so she'd at least have a chance. And that was definitely what she planned to do, already having decided to return to Hercule City dojo once she was ready.

She moved to get out of bed, ignoring the fact that her back stung like hell. As she sat up, the hospital blanket slipped off, exposing her bare back to the cold hospital air. Cacao frowned, realizing just what that meant.

Cacao had only been to a hospital twice in the past, both times as a result of either her or her mother being injured somehow. But the one time she had gone made her hate the little dress things the hospitals put you in. After all, who'd want to wear something that basically caused you to involuntarily flash people as you walked by?

Getting to her feet, she quickly surveyed the room. She could only hope that they hadn't thrown her normal clothes somewhere else and just tossed her in the room in this stupid hospital attire. Then again, considering how the last few days had been, she wouldn't be surprised if they had.

But luckily enough for her, they hadn't. Glancing to the right of her, she noticed a rather old looking chair resting in the corner of the room. Draped over it was the top half of her gi and the long sleeved shirt she wore under it while her pants had been folded and placed in the seat of the chair. On top of those were her sneakers, both right next to one another.

Cacao let out a sigh of relief, thanking the gods that she wouldn't have to go on some video game-esque hunt for her clothing. That'd just be a complete waste of time meant to artificially lengthen her experience and introduce her to people she'd likely never meet again. No one would want that, would they?

Picking her undershirt up off the chair, she noticed that it had been tailored a bit. That had obviously been done to fix it up after the bit of damage it had taken the other day. It surprised her to think that the hospital had actually done something like that.

It took a few seconds to figure out how the stupid hospital dress came off, a fact that surprised the hell out of her considering its simplicity. Once it did come off though, she slipped on her clothes, reaching for her sneakers next. She sat in the chair and proceeded to put them on her feet.

Yawning a bit more, she didn't seem to realize that it was pretty early in the morning. It was doubtful that she would've cared anyways, just glad that she got a decent night's rest. After all, yesterday had been one hell of a long day.

As she finished putting on her sneakers, another bit of her memory returned to her. She recalled the girl who had intervened in her fight with Ares, probably saving her life by doing so. But she still bugged Cacao, the fact she also lacked a ki signal making the hybrid uneasy.

After all, it could mean the Eliza had been an ally of the android she had faced. But then again, she seemed far more...human than the other had. And yet, the simple fact that she lacked a ki signal made Cacao rather suspicious of her.

Either way, the simple truth was that she had no idea what the other girl's true intentions were. Sure, she had appeared to be an ally, but that could likely be a facade for all Cacao knew. The hybrid got to her feet, stretching a little bit before her back reminded her that that wasn't the best of ideas.
