Main Races
Humans[/b]
Humans are masters of martial arts, allowing them to move about more swiftly and efficiently in battle.
+0.25 to Skill.
Humans also gain 15 Zenie per post instead of 10.
Transformation: Buffed x1.3 - 1300
After 1300th post, 30 posts of ki training are required.
Bulking your body up reduces your speed to x0.9
Saiyans
Saiyans have a high tolerance for pain and can take a beating better than other races.
+0.25 to Endurance.
A saiyan with a tail is capable of becoming an oozaru when they look at a full or false moon.
To keep things simple, full moons are considered on the following days of the month...
1st - Earth
8th - Vegeta
15th - Planet of the Kais
22nd - Demon World
As for the tails themselves... when a saiyan tail is squeezed or pulled, a debilitating pain shoots through the saiyan's body to ruin their ability to fight. This can be overcome if 30 posts of training by putting as much stress on the tail as possible are performed after the first time the tail weakness is abused by someone else in a fight.
Meaning... once someone's pulled/squeezed your tail in a fight, you can go off and do the 30 posts to get over it.
If you lose your tail, you can only grow it back after you reach a new star level (so if you had 3 stars when you lost it, you can grow it back once you hit 4 stars).
Saiyans get extra power when beaten within inches of their life.
Transformation: Oozaru x1.3 - 0
Only when a saiyan with a tail looks at the light of a full or false moon. Saiyans go on a rampage in this form with absolutely no control over themselves until they can get control over this form. Oh and, obviously, any non-stretchy clothing will be ripped to shreds during transformation.
To control Oozaru will require a total of 30 posts of battle as a rampaging Oozaru, and at least 1600 posts.
Saiyans who cannot control this form will pass out upon detransformation.
Rampaging Oozarus have x0.75 Skill. Controlled Oozarus have x0.9 Skill.
No ki drain.
Nameks
Namekian senses are especially sharp, allowing them to be more aware of what's going on around them.
+0.25 to Senses.
They also have stretchable limbs, but to allow for such stretchiness, a namekian's limbs are more easily ripped/blasted off.
However, they are capable of sacrificing large chunks of ki to regrow entire limbs, as long as their brain and heart remain undamaged.
Transformation: Namekian Fighter x1.1 - 1200
After 1200th post, spend 30 posts exploring New Namek, Heaven, Hell, the Kai World, or the Demon World.
Then fuse with any non-player Namekian to activate the transformation for the first time.
Namekian Demons
Nameks reproduce by spitting out eggs. Sometimes, what hatches from an egg isn't a regular namek, but something a little more like a demon.
This is usually the result of the egg-spitter having a heart tainted with evil or lacking in enough purity. Though this doesn't mean evil nameks can't produce perfectly normal nameks as well as demonic ones. Because they can.
If you want a namekian demon, then that's fine.
They work the same way as regular nameks, but if you want, you can swap the +0.25 in senses to get any of the five abilities earlier than you should...
-Combos
-Powerful Ki
-After Image
-Ki Control
-Winged Flight
Note: Winged Flight substitutes Skydancing, and is pretty much the same... except if you lose your wings you lose your flight, while Skydancing is flight using ki mastery, and can't be short-cut.
Once you get the right number of posts to get the ability you short-cut on, then you get your +0.25 senses back.
Mutants
Each mutant is different.
+0.25 to any one stat.
They're also able to survive in inhospitable environments such as space, and can survive with their body sliced up without suffering bloodloss, just as long as their head and upper body remain in good enough condition.
Note: Base Form is called 1st Form.
Transformation 1: Ugly Form x1.1 - 1200
After 1200th post, this requires 10 posts of combat and 20 posts of training in 1st Form.
Transformation 2: 2nd Form x1.2 - 1400
After 1400th post, this requires 10 posts of combat and 20 posts of training in Ugly Form.
Androids
Androids are speedy, and capable of outmaneuvering other races more easily.
+0.25 to Speed.
Androids have internal energy supplies, and therefore do not have any ki to be sensed or detected by any means.
Note that you can be an android variation of any race (except Bio Android and Magical Being), but you do not gain any additional advantages from that race... that would just be overpowered.
Transformation: Tweaked x1.1 - 1200
After 1200th post, 30 posts of training are required.
Kais
Kais are powerful beings with a stronger force of ki than other races.
+0.25 to Ki Power.
Dead kais are not sent to the Other World (unless their body becomes vaporized), and can wander where they please. Although this does increase the risk of being erased permanently if they get involved in any serious fights, so dead kais should be careful.
When a kai dies, they will be fully healed and rejuvinated after 10 turns have passed in the battle they died in, but they will still be considered 'dead' with a halo etcetera.
Note: Base Form is called Alpha Kai.
Transformation: Pre-Beta Kai x1.2 - 1400
After 1400th post, this Requires 30 posts of training.
Activates for the first time in battle.
Demons
Demons have brutal strength to pack extra damage in hand-to-hand combat.
+0.25 to Strength.
Demons are also capable of pulling weapons from thin air.
One weapon may be pulled from the air per post, and each weapon is forged from a portion of the demon's ki.
Demons also get a 50% discount with the Demon World portals.
Note: Base Form is called Lesser Demon.
Transformation: Demon Blood x1.2 - 1400
After 1400th post, spend 30 posts getting in touch with your true demon nature, to unleash the wild powers of your blood.
Activates for the first time you 'let loose' and go wild.
Hybrids
Same rules apply as for Main Characters.
Advanced: Juniors
Only available if you have a Bio-Android.
They work the same way as Bio-Androids, and will have the exact same racial advantages and racial stat boost as your main Bio-Android.
Also, they get the minion transformation(s) of whatever race your Bio-Android derives its transformations from.
They work in exactly the same way, too, with one difference...
A Junior doesn't start out with a full set of techniques.
Whatever techniques the main Bio-Android has when the Junior is born are listed in the Junior's profile, in order.
The Junior automatically learns these in that order when they have the right number of technique slots; no training/learning required.
Note: If a Junior absorbs someone to gain a technique, they can either swap out one of the techniques they already know, or place it in the queue and swap out one of the techniques they don't know yet.
Advanced: Blobs
Only available if you have a Magical Being.
They work exactly the same way as Magical Beings.
No special minion transformation is available.
Advanced: Demi-Dragonian
Only available if you have a Dragonian.
They work exactly the same way as Dragonians.
They get to choose their minion-transformation from what the other races have (but it may need renaming and need an appearance change).
Minion-Only Races
Shapeshifting Animals
Like Oolong and Puar.
These creatures are non-combat types, who start at 0 posts.
Instead of fighting, these creatures have their own special uses in that they can transform in to whatever they please.
But remember, when transformed, a shapeshifting animal is still as weak as ever (just transforming in to chunk of metal won't make them any tougher, for example); if you've seen the 'Oolong the Terrible' episodes of Dragon Ball, you'll understand how this works.
Anyway, to start with, a shapeshifting animal can only hold a form for 5 posts. Between transformations, they have to rest for 5 posts in their normal animal form.
Every 100 posts, a shapeshifting animal extends their transformation time by 5 posts.
Notes:
-Shapeshifting animals start with no techniques.
-Also, remember that combat abilities won't start being unlocked until after 1000 posts, just like for the other minion races, meaning combos will be at 1100, not 100.
-Lastly, if a Shapeshifter simply adds mass to themselves, it will result in increased ki drain during their transformation (i.e. no easy 4/8-arms attack, lol).
Combat
Shapeshifting animals will likely be KO'd or beaten within 2 or 3 posts. Sometimes just 1.
This makes boosting the animal itself extremely easy, due to the effects of Catch-Up bonuses.
However, to avoid making things too easy for the stronger who is picking on the poor weak shapeshifter, a non-shapeshifting animal can only receive catch-up the first time they fight any shapeshifter.
They must then fight something that isn't a shapeshifter, before they can get catch-up from fighting shapeshifters again.
Notes: Of course, fighting the non-shapeshifter comes with no penalty, and full catch-up will be awarded.
Also, any shapeshifters with 1000 posts or more do not come under this rule, and you can should be able to get catch-up bonuses every time you fight them.
Saibamen
Remember the Saiyan Saga?
Plant a seed in the ground, add the weird green goo, and watch your Saibaman grow! You can buy seeds from Vegeta and Icer.
Each Saibaman can shoot acid from their heads, once per battle. This acid will horribly burn and corrode absolutely anything and anyone, no matter their Power Level.
Ogres
I am Goz. And I am Mez.
Ogres just cannot die, isn't that awesome?
Well, there's one problem... they're stranded in the Other World.
Also, they can only visit the Kai or Demon World depending on their karma (positive for Kai World, and negative for Demon World - no karma allows access to both worlds).
Ogres can spend karma to go to the Living World, and they get one day for every 10 karma they spend, instead of every 100.
Every 100 posts an Ogre makes, they can apply to get 10 karma, and this ignores the 50 karma per saga limit, so don't worry about that.
By the way, being immortal doesn't make you invincible... they take damage like anyone else.
If an ogre's body is mortally wounded, they follow the same 10 post get back up rule as Kais, but find themselves getting up in King Yemma's Office, and having lost all days they've purchased (if applicable) in the Living World.
Genies
Like Mr. Popo
During combat, a genie can reduce ki wastage to an absolute minimum.
When in melee, each movement is necessary. Otherwise they don't move at all, and remain perfectly still.
When using ki, every bit of ki they put in to a blast is concentrated perfectly. There are no unnecessary sounds or explosions unless intended.
As a result, a genie can fight as if they have 25% more stamina.
Unfortunately, this has no effect on transformations... ki drain cannot be minimized for those without achieving mastery, just like all races have to achieve. Although, genies are more likely to be able to go the full 20 posts in a transformation without wearing themselves out prematurely, and when the timer does expire, they tend to be a little better for wear than characters of other races who put up a similar sort of fight.
Anyways, as a final bonus, every genie owns a magic carpet, which they will always be able to summon to their hand, just in case they lose it.
Yardrats
Instant Transmission!
Yardrats automatically know Ki Sensing, Universal Ki Sensing, Instant Transmission, and Warp Attacks.
These take up no technique slots.
Metamorese
FU-SION HA!
Metamorese start with a free dance, and this free dance doesn't take up any tech slots.
They can dance with anyone, of any race, meaning they can even use the fusion dance with any race. All dances with time limits last an extra 10 posts.
Minion-Only Race Transformations[/u]
