To create an alliance, at least two characters must decide, in-character, to band together.
One of those two, preferably the leader (if applicable), then posts a new thread here, with the name of the alliance, and puts this in it:
Name:
Purpose:
Alignment: Good /Evil /Neutral
Current Members:
Wanted Members:
Requirements (if any):
Once your alliance is born, you can then go search Space for your planet. Once you've found your planet, post in your alliance thread that you found it, and mention all details you'd like it to have when it's created for you (especially the name).
Your character will need to tell each member of your alliance about the planet. I mean, how will anyone in your alliance get there without the spaceship co-ordinates from your first visit? Even Universal Transmission will require the member to have been on the planet at least once to be able to teleport there again in future.
Finally, once any two members are together on your planet, you can start creating alliance attacks!
You may create one alliance attack for every different combination of members. You can even create one awesome super-combined attack involving all members of your alliance working together!
Only one alliance attack by a certain side can be used in total throughout the whole battle. So make sure each one is worth it.
Using an alliance attack will require all participants to be in good condition - if they're too beaten or exhausted then it won't be possible.
Post each alliance attack in your alliance thread to be accepted. Once it's accepted, add it to the first post.
Alliance Attack Format
Name:
Participants:
Description:
Special Effects:
Defects:
Senzu Bean Distribution
Another advantage to having an alliance is that you'll be allowed to pool your senzu beans.
So if you have 3 members, you can have one member with 3 beans and the others with none, or one with 2 and another with 1.
Multiple Alliances?
If a character is in more than one alliance, they can only take advantage of 'senzu bean distribution' with the first alliance they use it with. From then onwards, they may not give or receive senzu beans to or from the members of other alliances they are also a part of (unless they're immediately eaten as is always allowed regardless).
Note: The way to break out of this is to quit the alliance the character is participating in senzu bean distribution with.
