Metamorese Fusion
1. Both characters need to know the Metamorese Fusion Dance, and be of the same race and be at the same transformation.
Androids are considered as the race of Android they are, meaning typical Androids can fuse with Humans and Human Androids.
Hybrids can only fuse with their dominant race. So Saiyan Human hybrids may only fuse with Saiyans and other Saiyan Human Hybrids, but not Humans, for example.
2. Fusing a metamorese fusion again while already fused is not allowed.
3. Fusion must be done while both characters are in good condition. If one gets beaten up too much or if one is tired, then it won't be possible.
4. Fusing of living and dead results in a dead fusion.
5. When you fuse, one of you creates a new fusion account with a fusion name.
You should share the password to the account between yourselves.
PM an admin, and they will rig the posts of the fusion to be double the post count (minus 2000) of the weakest of the fusers.
6. The fusion's karma will be double the smallest karma (ignoring +/-). Whether the fusion has positive or negative karma is determined by the biggest karma's polarity.
So if a +50 and a -75 fuse... the fusion will have 50x2=100 karma, and it will be -100 because 75 is bigger than 50.
7. You both log-in to the fusion account.
One of you posts the fusion's profile in the Fusions sub-board here.
8. Note that the character with the highest post count will have the dominant features (for deciding male/female, android/non-android, positive/negative karma etcetera).
9. Once your character is made, you have 20 in-character posts before you both defuse.
10. If the fusion activates a transformation that both the individual fusers weren't originally capable of, then each post they make in that transformation uses up 2 posts of the fusion's time limit.
So instantly transforming will use up the whole 20 post limit in just 10 posts.
Note: If only 1 post remains, and you're in a transformation neither fuser is capable of, then defusion will occur mid-post, and will always occur right before the final attack (almost always the most important and epic one, too).
11. Metamorese fusions can bypass any and all special requirements for transformations. All a fusion needs is enough posts.
Unless a fusion is capable of accessing 'etcetera' transformations. Where then they can only go to the first 'etcetera' major above the highest poster, and no higher.
So if two characters with 5000 and 5500 posts fuse to make an 8000 post character, but the highest transformation they can access is the major gained at 7000.
12. Fusions are considered as having unlocked and mastered all transformations each individual has already mastered. Also, if both individuals are still in training to master a form, take the one with the least number of posts toward the mastery, and double it. If it's 50 or more, then that form is mastered, too.
13. Unless the fusion uses a transformation that one or both fusers has not mastered yet but have unlocked, posts while using that unmastered transformation are split in two, rounded up, and given to each individual character's mastery of that transformation. Otherwise, if the fusion uses a transformation that at least one individual fuser is not capable of, then no posts toward mastery are gained.
14. The convention for fusion is to take it in turns, first one of you posts, then the other, until you make 20 posts, when you must both log-off of the fusion.
15. Your fusion character gets fused versions of the individual characters' techniques, and extra techniques to fill any remaining slots that the fusion has.
So go ahead and be imaginative about them.
16. If the fusion gets two 10x Power Attacks fused together, they may choose to upgrade it to 100x Power, but this can only be done for one fused attack, and both original attacks must be 10x Power.
Using a 100x Power Attack requires an extra post of charge from 10x Power, as a result needing 2 extra posts from the regular 1x form of the technique overall.
Also, using a 100x Power Attack will use up half (rounded up) the remaining fusion posts immediately in the instant before it's fired. This also means that if a 100x Power Attack is fired when a fusion has only 1 post left, the timer ends up being 0, and the fusion splits before they can release it, just like what happened to Gogeta.
17. Once defused, both characters will be exhausted down to x1, with no ability to transform or power up. Each character will also have to make 50 posts before they can try to fuse with someone again.
18. Boosts that are awarded to the fusion are given to each of the two fusers. The boosts are given as if there were two fighters, and any additional posts are determined by the star levels of the individual fusers.
19. PM one of the staff if you don't have a clue.
Fusion is tricky at first, but it's a load of fun.
20. Tip: Send PMs to yourself to communicate with the other person you're fused with.
Namekian & Android
1. These are permanent and must be agreed on.
Namekian: One namekian converts the other into ki and absorbs them, and there is no going back.
Android: Both androids merge in to one, with all of their devices shifting and reconfiguring to create a perfect whole. This is a permanent one-way process.
2. The character who is being absorbed has half their post count (excluding the starter 2000) added to the character left standing.
Half the absorbed character's karma is also transferred.
3. The absorbed character must restart as a new character, following the rules on Starting Over.
4. The two fusers shuffle their techniques together, and the character left standing picks out what they want, until they fill all of their dojo slots.
5. No new account is created for the character left standing; they continue to use the same account and profile.
Nothing is posted in the Fusion sub-board.
6. Android fusions will cause a change in appearance as well as personality. Namekian fusions will only cause a change in personality.
7. The character left standing automatically masters their current highest major transformation, and will then automatically be eligible for their next major transformation without having to do 30 posts of training for it.
8. Minions cannot fuse this way.
Potarra
1. For fusion of this kind, two characters must each wear a Potarra Earring, and on opposite ears.
2. Fusion can be between any two characters, no matter their race, transformation stages, or anything.
3. If a living and a dead character fuse, the result is a living fusion.
4. The fusion's karma is the total of the karma of both fusers, and the polarity of the karma is determined by who's raw karma was biggest (ignoring +/-).
5. Once fused, one of you creates a new fusion account with a fusion name.
You will need to share the password to the account between yourselves.
PM an admin, and they will rig the posts of the fusion to be total number of posts of both of the fusers minus 2000.
6. The character with the highest post count will determine specific features such as race and sex.
7. You both log-in to the fusion account.
One of you posts the fusion's profile in the Fusions sub-board here.
8. Potarra fusions do not automatically bypass special requirements for transformations.
9. Transformations for Potarra Fusions take double the posts, excluding the initial 2000. So Super Saiyan, which is normally 3000, will require 4000 for a Potarra Fusion.
10. Potarra fusions are considered as having unlocked and mastered all transformations each individual has already mastered. Also, if both individuals are still in training to master a form, add together the numbers of posts toward each mastery of the same form, and if the result is over 50, then the potarra fusion automatically gains the mastered version.
11. Posts while using an unmastered transformation are split in two, rounded up, and given to each individual character's mastery of that transformation, even if one of those individuals had not unlocked it prior to fusing.
12. The convention for fusion is to take it in turns, first one of you posts, then the other. But as a Potarra fusion can last so long, there will be times when only one of you is online posting.
13. Your fusion character gets fused versions of the individual characters' techniques, and extra custom techniques to fill in any remaining slots.
So go ahead and be imaginative about them.
Note that 100x Power Attacks require you to be in good condition, otherwise you'll be too weak to use them. Also, generally, you should not use any 10x Power Attacks in the same battle you use a 100x Power Attack, due to the insane stamina drain.
15. Potarra Fusions cannot suppress their power levels below their highest Base or Base-Replacing form, unless forced to by being beaten up too much or getting themselves exhausted down to x1, but this isn't optional.
16. This fusion remains together until either the fusion dies or a wish is made to split the fusion.
Note: If a Kai Fusion uses their karma and gives up their life to revive another character, the fusion does not split.
17. The separate accounts of everyone who fused will be banned from the RP until defusion happens.
18. Potarra fusions cannot fuse further with other characters by any method.
19. Potarra Earrings lose their powers and become regular earrings after their first use.
20. Boosts that are awarded to the fusion are given to each of the two fusers. The boosts are given as if there were two fighters, and any additional posts are determined by the star levels of the individual fusers.
