Located somewhere on this desolate planet is this huge tower, which extends high above the clouds.
It will take you at least 10 posts to climb Kirin's Tower, but you can take 1 off for each star you have to represent your heightened abilities.
Once at the top... you will finally meet the legendary Master Kirin!
If you're looking to do some training to get stronger, and your reasons for becoming stronger aren't good or anything, you could try his 'Unholy Water Training'.
Basically, Kirin will show you a vial of water, and say that if you drink it, it'll make you stronger. The problem is, he'll do everything he can to stop you from taking it!
The truth is, it's just tap water, but all the time you spend trying to chase Kirin and predict his movements ought to make you stronger, so this is a great way to do some training.
One last thing... Kirin can read your mind.
Yep. But only if you're quiet... he can't hear your thoughts if you're making a racket with your voice.
Cursed Water
If you want to try the 'real' Unholy Water, after you've caught Kirin, you only need to ask.
If you have -50 Karma or worse, Kirin will open a pot in one of the rooms in the tower, and tell you to get in it.
The pot will transport you to a fiery cave in an unknown location to the south...
Kirin's Cursed Water Cave
Senzu Beans
Kirin will give each LIVING character with zero or negative karma a senzu pouch, if they wish to have a senzu bean.
But to actually get a senzu bean is a different story...
You must go to Earth's Lakes, Rivers, and Oceans, and fish for a Red Snapper.
It takes 5 posts to find and catch one.
Give Kirin the Red Snapper (and it has to be freshly caught, too), and he will reward you with a senzu bean.
If you already have a senzu, he won't give you another. He doesn't like sharing these too much.
In other words, you can only have 1 senzu bean with you at any time.
Kirin isn't always so strict, though... he may show pity upon someone who seems to weak to even move and feed them a senzu bean.
As if you didn't know, senzu beans fully recover all your ki/energy and heal your body.
You can even split them in two to eat half at a time (for half the effects, of course).
Senzu beans do not recover the usages of any 'limited use' techniques (eg: 1 use per battle), however.
Flying Nimbus
If your character is 'Evil' in alignment, you can get one of these purple fluffy flying clouds from Kirin.
You're able to ride a nimbus as long as you think ABSOLUTELY NO GOOD THOUGHTS.
Not even for a moment are you allowed to think of anything even slightly pure, or else you fall. Remain 100% evil and you'll be fine.
Hyperbolic Time Chamber Portal
If you're alive, Kirin will agree to open a dimensional rift for you to enter the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, which is usually accessed via Earth's Lookout.
