You may have spotted each race gets a certain stat boosted.
The easiest way to put things is to say that each stat has its own power level. So if something's at +0.25, and you're in Base x1, then its power level is 1+0.25=1.25x your post count.
The effects of each stat are listed below...
Skill: The higher this is, the more you move with efficiency and fluidity. You will find it easier to land more hits and parry more of your opponent's hits in hand-to-hand combat. Swatting ki blasts will also become a little easier with higher skill.
Endurance: How well you can take a hit. Endurance basically reduces the damage you take from attacks.
Senses: The higher this is, the more alert you will be of your surroundings. Having better senses allows you to react quicker for more effective dodges and counter-attacks.
Speed: How fast you move. Simple as that.
Ki Power: The higher this is, the more damage your ki attacks will do, and the better you'll be in beam struggles. Note: This is called Energy Power for Androids. Or you can just call it Power for everyone.
Strength: The higher this is, the more damage your physical attacks will do, and the better you'll be in grapples.
For Advanced Players: Tweaking Stats
-You can raise or lower any stat by up to 0.5 from its starting point. So all stats except your racial stat will have a range from -0.5 to +0.5, and your racial stat has a range from -0.25 to +0.75
-You can only tweak stats in increments or decrements of 0.1 or 0.25 (this prevents stupid changes like +0.398567 by keeping it simple).
-For each 0.1 you tweak a stat up, another stat must be tweaked by 0.1 down. In other words, it all has to balance.
-Up until you've tweaked your stats, battled with those stats, and have gathered at least 100 posts, you may request to change your stats as many times as you like, but afterwards, each time you change your stats there has to be a damn good reason for it. It helps to offer proof of your character training to adjust their abilities, too... please link us to such training when requesting new stats.
-Once you've gone past the limits explained above, no stat can shift by anything other than 0.1 in either direction at a time. The only exception is when changing stats over a timeskip - you can either change a stat by a single increment or decrement of 0.1 or 0.25, but nothing else, and no weird combinations of 0.25-0.1-0.1 either.
Note to Magical Beings
Since they cannot raise their Endurance, but instead get higher Stamina from transformations, you will need to replace Endurance with Stamina.
