The major transformations for each race are set... you won't be able to change those, but what about the intermediates between the major transformations?
Well, as long as you haven't reached the post count for any intermediate (if you've got two intermediates, like changelings have, then as long as you haven't reached the first) you can request a customization to go in your Special Notes.
Basically, it works like this...
First, you pick an increment.
0.1 - 200
0.2 - 400
0.3 - 600
0.4 - 800
What you pick becomes the extra power you add to the major before it, and also comes with a required number of posts to make.
So, an intermediate after the x1.5 major transformation (at 3000 posts) with a 0.1 increment will be x1.6, and can be achieved at 3200 posts.
Remember, the 30 posts of training will also apply. The style of the training will be determined by your race.
Simple as that.
Also note that once you reach the post count for your custom transformation, then you won't be able to make any more changes to that intermediate. It doesn't matter if you've unlocked it or not.
Oozaru
Provided you've never transformed, not learned False Moon, and not reached the post count at which you can hope to control it, then you can ditch it.
The same goes for any berserker form as described below.
Buffing
You can half the post requirement for any increment, in exchange for a reduction of 0.1 of speed for every 1000 posts the major below has.
Remember that the speed is taken from the major below's multiplier, not the buffed form's multiplier (take a look at the Human transformations to understand)!
So it goes like this...
0.1 - 100
0.2 - 200
0.3 - 300
0.4 - 400
If you picked 0.1, 0.2, or 0.3, then you can have a second 'ultimate' form of 0.5 at 500 posts.
Ultimate forms suffer a 0.2 reduction from speed for every 1000 posts the major below has, and this is applied to the multiplier of the major below, not the Ultimate's multipler.
Just take a look at how Ascended and Ultimate Super Saiyan work to get the idea.
2-Stage
Notice how changelings have 2nd and 3rd form?
After the required post count, do 10 posts of combat and 20 posts of training in the previous form, and you can unlock the transformation.
Then do the same for the next.
Basically, pick any two increments that are side-by-side, like 0.2 and 0.3, and that's it.
Burnout
This is a different form of 2-Stage.
For the first of your two stages, quarter the requirement, so it goes like this...
0.1 - 50
0.2 - 100
0.3 - 150
0.4 - 200*
Unlocking the first stage requires 10 posts of combat and 20 posts of training in the major before it (training only counts after you've reached the required post count, as usual).
Once unlocked, the first stage has a half time-limit, so the regular 20 post timer becomes 10 posts, for example, and any decimals are rounded down.
If the major below is mastered, then the time-limit is a straight 10 posts.
*: Picking this sacrifices your second stage.
Anyway, now for your second stage... after reaching the requirement, this will need 10 posts of combat and 10 posts of training in your burnout form. Multipliers and requirements are the usual for regular 2-stage forms. Also, the second stage is one above the burnout, so if you picked 0.2 for a burnout, then your second stage is 0.3.
Berserker
This is extremely complicated, and I don't recommend using this unless you fully understand how it works.
Note that you always have to pick them in pairs, so if you pick one for between x1 and x1.5, you also get the one between x1.5 and x2.
You can cut down any post requirement to zero by giving your character a tail or other additional severable appendage, and within that tail or whatever will be the power to transform in to a giant berserker creature.
The berserker follows the same rules of oozaru transformation (you'll need a Full Moon or False Moon) and rampage and the tail or appendage follows the same rules as saiyan tails (including the whole weakness to being grabbed/squeezed/pulled/etcetera until you overcome the weakness).
Note that berserkers lose 0.25 skill from the major below for every 1000 posts that major has, and upon detransformation, a berserker falls unconscious (unless they have control).
How do you control a berserker form? Well, first of all you'll need 30 posts of rampage, and then... you know the post counts I mentioned earlier for regular intermediates? They're what you'll have to reach in addition to your 30 posts of rampage.
Take a look at Oozaru and Golden Oozaru to understand how this works.
Also, when you can control a berserker form, your skill defect is reduced to 0.1 loss for every 1000 the major below has, instead of 0.25.
Anyway, now I said you have to pick these in pairs, right? Well, don't worry, you can still pick a second intermediate set, but only in one of the gaps between majors.
For example, saiyans have nothing but oozaru between x1 and x1.5, but have oozaru AND ascended/ultimate between x1.5 and x2.
Ultimate Berserker
This is also only available in a pair, but only for a specific pair of intermediates... x2~x2.5 and x2.5~x3.
These must be exact mirrors of Wild and Calm Golden Oozaru.
Same multipliers and skill levels and everything.
You also get both intermediates taken up. Unlike with regular oozaru and golden oozaru, both slots will be taken.
But in exchange, you get two extremely powerful forms with no ki drain.
Another thing... for your x3 transformation, instead of needing to have access to all intermediate transformations (except for the one above x2.5, of course), you will need 'control over Wild Berserker Form' (or you need to be in Calm Berserker Form), and you'll need your tail or other appendage intact.
You will also need your tail or otherwise for all further transformations (buy a blutz machine to overcome this issue), but you will gain the ability to regrow at will once you unlock your x3.5 form.
Note: If you give yourself a regular Berserker form after you gain the ability to automatically regrow your tail or whatever, then you temporarily lose the ability to regrow it at will (you can still regrow it upon reaching a new star rank), otherwise it would be a little cheap.
You then regain the ability once you've reached the post count of the major directly after your last Berserker form.
Namekian Regeneration
You will not be able to regrow your tail or otherwise back using this ability.
Sorry, but that just wouldn't be fair.
