"How may i help you." The monk asked Reiji at the table. "I'd like to register for the Tenkaichi Budokai please." Reiji said very politely.

"I will just need the 100 zenie entry fee and your name please sir." The monk said. "My name is Reiji Iori." Reiji told him. "So when do i learn who i am going to fight?"

"Well you are the first one to register. So check back when all the spots are filled." The monk told him. Reiji nodded and headed out of the registration building, to explore the island more.

As Heater went inside, he saw...guys wearing orange and purple. "This is what some people on Earth wear? Seriously? What the heck? Eh, maybe I shouldn't question what they're wearing..."

He then walked up to the main desk. Then, he said, "Hey, I'm here to sign up for the tournament. Are there any tournament slots left?"

"Hmmmmmmmmmm? Oh, yes. Infact, you're the second person to sign up. I just need 100 zenie and your name." Heater handed him the money. "Here. And, it's Heater." Then, after he signed up, Heater left the building.

Shiro slowed as the registration building came into view. "Alright, time to sign up." he muttered to himself as he entered. As he entered he noticed two sign in stations; one with a rather large line, and the other with virtually no one.

Shiro walked to the almost empty booth and looked at the lone employee. "Excuse me, is this where I register for the Tenkaichi Budokai?"
The employee, a monk, looked up and nodded. "Yes, why? Signing someone in?"

Shiro nodded. "Yeah, myself. Shiro Miyamoto." The monk looked at him curiously, then shrugged. He'd seen other young people enter, and some of them actually did pretty well.
"That'll be 100 zenie, please."

Shiro took out the money and handed it over, while the monk wrote down his name. "It'll be a few days before the tournament begins. You can either wait on the island or just keep an eye on the news. They tend to make an announcement 48 hours before the competition starts. Any questions?"
Shiro started to shake his head, when a thought occurred to him. "Uh, what exactly is the prize, anyway?"

The monk shook his head. Typical. Most of the kids who entered the tournament didn't care about the prize so much as the fighting. "1000 zenie and a dragonball."
Shiro blinked. "What's a dragonball?"

The monk yawned, a sign of indifference. "Some sort of mythical item that supposedly grants wishes. Except its part of a set and you need all the parts to get your wish. And then you only get one." He blinked and frowned. "Or was it two? Anyway, no one's ever gotten all seven together before. In fact, I don't think anyone's ever gotten more than two together before."

Shiro nodded. "So basically, 1000 zenie and a trinket, right?" The monk nodded. "Meh, that's good enough. At least it'll cover the entry fee." He turned and walked out, turning back only to thank the monk for answering the question.

There was no mistaking the tournament stadium from any other building on the rest of the island. Ian ran up to where he saw there were actually people. A registration window at the building to the side of the entrance to the stadium. He stepped up to the window and spoke, "I'm here to register for the Tenkaichi Budokai."

The man at the registration desk inside the window nodded and replied, "Very well. We'll need your name and the one hundred zennie entrance fee and then you'll be all set."
Ian smirked and nodded back, "My name is Ian Riley. Here's my entrance money," He stated as he opened his wallet and layed the few bills required to pay his way on the desk at the window.

"Alright, Mr. Riley. You're registered. Good luck in the tournament," The registrar said as he took down Ian's name and began typing various things into the computer along with it.
Ian simply turned and started running again. He didn't want Scott to waste too much fuel letting the engine idle while he waited for Ian.

Finally... after days of searching and getting lost at least 100 times, Nachi arrives... at the tournament stadium! After approaching the first people she sees... the ones in the registration building, Nachi jumps on the desk and declares... "I'ma join this tourniment!" The monks stare up at her for a few moments...

After spotting her tail, the monks decide they may as well go along with her demands... since she's one of them, she ought to stand a decent chance, compared to a human child would. So one clears his throat and asks... "Name?" "Nachi!" "Okay, now we need 100 zenie as an entrance fee..." "Huh?" "Entering this tournament isn't free, I'm afraid." "Oh, moneys!"

Nachi dashes off, and after picking a pocket or two, she runs back before anyone who spotted her can even catch up... "Here ya go!" She drops the money on the counter... 440 zenie... of course, the monks give her back 340... "Okay, you are now signed up for the tournament, good luck! It'll begin in a few days time."
OOC: Nachi's 10 zenie per post is being explained by theft. <3

"Whoo-... wait... a few days?!" "Yes, unfortunately this sort of tournament takes time to attract the right competitors... but while you wait, you can train in Hercule City. There's a ship leaving the docks over there in a few minutes..." The monk points... Nachi turns her head to look... "Uhh... 'kay... I'll train then..." Feeling a little let down that the tournament isn't starting yet, Nachi sets off in a dash down the streets... moments later, a crowd of angry people appear around some corner near the registration building... but they're too late... the thief who stole their cash, Nachi, is gone.

The gray cloud korin gave Tazia would land right in front of the registration building.
"So this is where the earthlings go to fight ...." Tazia would signal his cloud to sit there and wait as he walks into the building.

Tazia would walk up to the front desk
" is this where you sign up"
"why yes it is sir 100 zenie please"
Tazia would toss the money down before writing his name on his sign in his shit. He would then leave on his cloud forelse where.

Cacao stepped up to the registration desk, noticing the monk that sat behind it. She blinked, noticing the goofy little cap sitting upon his head and wondering why anyone would wear the ridiculous mini-hat. She shrugged it off, the monk set to take names of those who wanted to enter looking up.

"I assume you're here to enter the Tenkaichi Budokai, miss. Name?"
Silence. Once again, Cacao had no desire to speak to answer the man's query. After all, she had noticed the registration form resting on the desk that separated the two. A few minutes passed, the man sighing.
"Alright, just write your name on the sheet of paper and hand me the 100 zenie required for entry..."

She did so, reaching into her somehow dry wallet and placing the amount required on top of the registration form. Despite the cost of entering, she was just glad that she'd be able to enter the tournament now.
"Alright, miss. You're registered. Unfortunately, we're still lacking a participant, so please return in a few days."

She turned around, about ready to leave when realization hit her. She froze mid-step, eyes wide open. After all the hell she had gone through to get here, the tournament wasn't set to occur for a few more days. Suppressing the urge to completely lose control and scream out a stream of obscenities, she exited the building.

Ace approached the building slowly, still dripping water. He looked at a monk walking by. "Excuse me...how do I register for the-"
"Budokai Tenkaichi? Right over there, sir," the monk said, pointing at a table near the building.

"Alright, I'll just need your name and the 100 zenie registration fee."
