Once he was actually in the water, Ace swam as fast as he could for the wilderness near Hercule City. "The sharks aren't around this time..." he said to himself. "Hmm..."

Soon enough, without distractions to distract him, Ace saw the shoreline coming into view. "Progress is such a wonderful thing!" he said to himself.

It was in no time at all that Nachi had made her way to the coastline, and dived in to the waters to swim her way toward where she thinks she remembers Papaya Island was... though the memories are a little blurry... what with the ship she was on and then destroyed by accident on the way here...

Haru would be swimming slowly along in a rhythmic motion. "This is relaxing in a way. Nothing for miles except a bunch of aquatic creatures" I'll take my time getting to the island. I feel like I can fately sense that guys power.

Ace reached the coastline after not too long and dove into the water, face first. Coming to the surface, he spit out some water and shook his head. "Ah......that's refreshing..." He turned over on his back and just floated out to sea, grinning to himself.

Haru would sense something big coming up under him. "Huh?" He'd start to rise up from the ocean as a huge whale can up for air. "A whale? Interesting" Haru would try to hold on as the whale dove down deep into the ocean.

He turned over and started swimming in earnest out to sea in a random direction. He really had nowhere to go, he was just trying to get...somewhere. And somewhere was where he would get, one way or another.

"Looks like it's really lively down here" A lot of different fish were swimming around. All of them with their own separate beauty. "Is that a dolphin? I've never seen one close up before"

As Ace swam along, he caught sight of something that made his stomach turn. Coming toward him was a pack of no less than five sharks, the foremost one with five small burns on its face.

"I think that was enough fun for one day. I think I'll try to head back that that tiny island now" He would let go of the whale and begin to swim closer and closer to he island whee he'd be training. "I hope this is worth it"

"Really? Come on!" Shaking his head, Ace dove down under the surface, trying to think of something he could do. Got to fight them off somehow...but I don't want to get injured. That explosion would do the trick...but it uses up so much energy...

Ace spun toward the sharks, drawing back both of his hands, the fingertips of them both glowing, as were his eyes. Here goes nothing! Throwing his left arm forward first, he let the energy shoot forth, five beams from his fingers, nailing one of the sharks on the edge of the pack in the nose.

Ace threw his right arm forward, releasing another Banshee Blast. Three of the beams hit one shark, while the other two hit another one. They both turned aside, rather discouraged. The remaining two, especially burn-nose, sped up, jaws now opening slightly.

Ace then let his Eye Lasers fly, nailing the fourth new shark in the face and causing it to turn aside as well. Burn-Nose swam up and before Ace could react, grabbed his arm in its jaws, and swam away, thrashing about. Ace grunted, letting out precious oxygen as he did.

Ace threw his fist into the shark's nose, but the water slowed his fist enough so that his fist just made a soft whump, causing the shark to just thrash even more violently, shooting through the water. Ace could feel the shark's teeth tearing through his jacket and into his arm as he tried to think of something to do.

Ace finally relentedand started to gather ki for an Explosion. This is gonna leave me drained as hell...but I don't really have many other options... The shark's thrashing had now all but destroyed his jacket sleeve and was wreaking havoc on his arm, causing him pain which made focusing on his ki diffucult.

Alright...here goes! Letting out a scream, which resulted in a stream of bubbles as well as a bright flash as his ki exploded around him. The shark went flying upward from the explosion, taking Ace along with it. FUUUUUUCK!!!

As Ace and the shark broke the surface, the shark let go of Ace's arm and flopped comically in the air before falling back in the water and swimming the fuck away. Ace, on the other hand, hit the water with a resounding belly flop, and just floated there as if dead for several minutes.

And Ace really seemed as if he were dead, floating on the waves as they traveled on toward shore. And slowly but surely, brifting bit by bit like this, he would get closer to short this way, though he was still rather unmoving.

Eventually, Ace washed up on shore and regained consciousness. Slowly getting to his feet, he made his way slowly back to Hercule City, his left arm bleeding and looking broken, but he just had an odd look on his face and mostly ignored the pain.

Nachi had swam the wrong way once, then twice... then a third time... somehow ending up right back on the land where she set off from... not realizing she was back, she headed straight ahead for the nearest city... Hercule City.

Once more, Shiro was riding a boat back to Papaya Island, having been found by some fishermen half asleep and swimming in circles ten miles off shore. Once they realized where he was going, they had been more than happy to give him a ride. Shiro took this chance to catch up on some much needed sleep.

Ian had nearly dozed off on his Nimbus for a moment, but a cool sea breeze wafted over him just as he was nearing loss of consciousness and snapped him back to reality. Still, the smell of the sea was comforting somehow.

Ian tilted his head up and gazed over his chest to see the island in the distance. It wouldn't be long now, so he sat up and waited for the time when he'd finally arrive.

The hybrid slowed down the pace after a little bit. She had to make sure she always knew which direction south was. Well, if she truly wanted to get to Papaya Island and not wind up lost at sea because of the fact she fucked up the directions.

Even if she slowed down the pace, she was still going pretty damn fast. Hell, some might even mistake her for a small speedboat. If one even existed that could go as fast as the hybrid was going or was even small enough.

Cacao realized that she'd likely be tired by the time she got back to Papaya Island. But she also had recalled something else of importance. The swimming half saiyan knew that she wouldn't have to worry about her stamina.

It was about then that she noticed a shark fin following her. She frowned and quickly picked up the pace, realizing that the damn thing likely wanted to eat her. But even if it could keep up with her, she wasn't going to wind up a meal.

The shark picked up the pace as well, definitely wanting to take a bite out of poor Cacao. She just smirked and let it attempt to keep up with her. It'd be good enough training if she was pushed to her limits, though she doubted that the shark could make her go that fast.

The shark rose to the surface, moving to bite into the young halfbreed's leg. But it was too slow, missing its target by mere inches. And in response, it got to chow down on a ki blast the second it opened its big mouth.
