Finding a minion:
To find a minion, you must post in somewhere how you meet them.
They don't have to be on your side or anything... the word 'minion' is being used in a loose term.
The point is just to separate secondary characters from main characters.
If an actual member decides to become another member's 'minion', 'disciple', etcetera, then they don't count as a 'minion' by this site's terminology. Instead they count as an 'ally', which is a different topic.
Creating a minion:
1. Log off.
2. Register a new account with the name of your new minion.
3. Post your minion's profile in the Minions section here.
4. Now you can either stay logged in as your minion, or you can log off again, so you can log in as your main character if you wish.
Using minions:
Unless you have multiple connections to the internet or multiple browsers, using minions will have to be done like this:
1. You have to log out of your main character, and then log in as your minion to use them.
2. If you wish to control multiple minions, you will have to keep logging out, then logging in again.
Tip: Bookmark/favorite the login page, and just go there each time you switch. You won't have to log out at all, making things much quicker!
This is how us admins control the saga villians, and after a short while, you can easily get used to this.
Minion limits:
You can have as many minions as you like, but the more you have, the more spread out your posting will be between all the minions, so the weaker each minion will be.
If you have so many minions that you can't fit all their profiles in to your minion list, then you will get your own sub-board here so you can give each minion their own thread together.
Minions are limited to the lowest level jobs, but just in case a minion is desperately in need of a larger sum of cash, their leader can donate money to them.
Minion power:
Minions start with 1000 posts, not 2000.
Any references to 2000 posts on this site should be substituted as being references to 1000 posts.
If somehow, a minion reaches 2000 posts, they will be upgraded to full character status, and then receive 500 free posts.
Minion rage:
If a minion fights someone with double their Power Level or more, then the moment after they start getting their ass kicked, they can unleash a 'rage transformation' at x1.5.
This takes a post to unleash like transformations normally do, and has a 20 post limit, but it's a helpful boost just to even the odds against main characters.
When a minion becomes a main character, they can still use this ability, up until they unlock their first major transformation at x1.5.
Note: Posts while in 'rage' count toward Base Form x1 mastery.
Minions and Dragon Balls:
A character can only search for a Dragon Ball 24 hours after the time they found their last Dragon Ball, right?
Well, if that character has a minion, that minion also cannot search for a Dragon Ball until the same 24 hours is up, and if that minion does search then, and finds a Dragon Ball, there has to be another 24 hours for both the minion and the main character before either can search for Dragon Balls again.
Basically, what I'm trying to say is, if a character has minions, only one of the lot of them can search for Dragon Balls as if they were just one character. Whoever does the searching can be switched around every time a new search is made, but only one of them can search.
Minions and Senzu Beans
Minions can't give their leaders any senzu beans during battle, but may do so outside of battle.
Advanced: Multiple Characters
When a minion outgrows its minion status and becomes a main character, they may no longer help your main character or receive help from your main character in any way.
This means no healing each-other or fighting on the same side, for example.
No exchanging zenie or items, etcetera.
This also applies to the bonus races who skip out on the minion phase.
Notes: In some cases, such as in a difficult-as-hell saga, you may be allowed to team up your characters just a little. But I doubt this will ever need to happen. So don't get your hopes up too much.
Alternatively, in some other cases, it just wouldn't make sense for two characters to not be on the same side in something... in this case, please check with some staff members by asking in the C-Box.
