Ace ran into the forest, dodging around the trees. "Alright, now to start searching for that tower!" And so he began his search.

Ace ran in a large, looping, slaloming path through the trees, trying to cover as much ground as possible in as little time as possible, but he was still tiring quickly from his already exhausted state and his injuries.

Ace was beginning to think he would need to stop to rest, when he came across a trail through the tree. Following it, he emerged in a large clearing...

It wasn't long before Cacao found herself in the middle of a forest, absolutely and completely lost. Skidding to a halt, she took a quick look around the area, panting ever so slightly. Unfortunately, all she could see was trees. Lots and lots of trees.

Zeta came to a halt in the midst of a forest, looking around. "Hmm... A forest? Why a forest...?" He walked forward slowly, not bothering to try and be quiet, as an effort at that would be doomed to failure, his size and weight making it next to impossible in the first place.

Taking a quick breather, she tried to decide which way she'd go from this point on. With everything seeming like it looked just alike, it wasn't too easy for one to figure out where they were headed. And unfortunately for Cacao, she couldn't quite tell which way she had come.

Keeping alert wasn't exactly necessary, as Zeta only had a vague idea of what he was looking for and so probably wouldn't notice even if he found it. If he had started pursuit as soon as he had seen the one he had followed, he might not have lost her in the trees. But, as always, failure lies in all things, in some amount.

Mentally flipping a coin, she decided on one of two ways to go, having no real idea which direction was which. Cacao took a deep breath and then took off at top speed once more, dodging the occasional tree and rock that was in her path. She could only hope she was heading somewhere.

Zeta pushed his way through a wall of shrubbery, and caught sight of his quarry once again. Not hesitating this time, he broke into a sprint after her. "She's either lost, trying to get somewhere, or guilty of something," he said to himself.

Leaping over a rather large boulder in the middle of the rather random path ahead of her, she slowed her pace ever so slightly. Cacao had no idea that there was someone following her and even if she did, she likely wouldn't care.
/Damn...Is this forest endless...?/

Following the hybrid, Zeta's way of avoiding the rock was much different. Rather than jumping over it or dodging around it, he drew back his fist, and smashed the damn thing into chunks and not even breaking stride. If he had had still been human, his hand would most likely be bleeding and in a lot of pain. He aimed to keep his target in sight this time.

/This is getting ridiculous.../ Cacao thought, glancing at the trees that practically surrounded her. Slowing her pace ever so slightly, she concentrated and then leaped as high as she could manage. The hybrid reached a hand out and grabbed onto the highest section of one of the trees that could manage. Unfortunately, she couldn't quite see anything thanks to the crap load of leaves obscuring her view.

Zeta came to a dead stop at the last place he had seen Cacao before she jumped. Looking up, he searched the trees for any sign of her. He managed it after a few moments, and then crouched down, placing his left hand on the ground, he jumped up, kicking off a tree and landing heavily on a large tree branch high in the trees. "Hmm..."

/Damn leaves.../
She reached up to grab onto a branch higher up on the tree, testing it's stability for a second before climbing up onto it. Once she managed that, she'd crouch ever so slightly before leaping again, managing to get pretty high above the trees. Taking as quick a look across the landscape as she could manage before gravity kicked in, she could swear she saw something in the distance to the east.
Facing that direction, she braced herself for landing, immediately descending towards the ground. On the way down, she grabbed a hold of a rather thick branch to stop her fall and then dropped all the way to the forest floor.
/Might as well risk it.../ She thought, still looking in the direction she had seen the object in the distance. Taking another deep breath, she took off at a decent pace.

Zeta dropped to the ground, and immediately taking off. Even his top speed was probably only as fast, if not a little slower, than Cacao's current pace. As he ran, his left hand disappeared into his wrist, and expanded a little as the opening extended an inch or so to form a cannon of some sort. Once he got close enough, if he got close enough to Cacao again, he would fire a shot of energy from this cannon. It wasn't aimed to hit her, rather just get her attention.

As Cacao dodged to the side to evade a tree in her path, she noticed something collide with it. Blinking in confusion, she focused for a second or two. Once again, she couldn't detect any energy signal around her. She grimaced, realizing one of the things that could mean if what hit the tree was really what she thought it had been.
/Is that being who attacked the city following me...?/ She asked herself mentally, picking up the pace ever so slightly.

Zeta let the faintest traces of a grin appear on his face as he continued to run at top speed. He took aim, as carefully as he could whilst running, and fired another energy shot. This shot, unless Cacao moved suddenly again, would fly, quite literally, right past her ear. His aim now was to get her to stop, or at least slow down long enough for him to catch up.
Why?
...
Well, now he wants a fight, that's why.

Cacao continued on, only to feel something rush by her ear. She immediately skidded to a halt and spun around, drawing up a hand as ki gathered into her palm. Someone really had been following her and despite the fact that it wasn't the ki-less being from before, she wouldn't be surprised if Zeta was one of his allies. She fired off a single burst of ki at the android, a warning shot in the style of the one he had just fired at her. In other words, it'd zip right past his head.

Zeta didn't even flinch, guessing at the trajectory of the blast even as Cacao was gathering it. It was a gamble, but it turned out to be right. Coming to a halt, Zeta didn't lower his arms, rather just stood there, a faint glow of ki in his arm cannon signaling he could fire again at any time.
"You. Why are you running around so wildly?" His voice was icy and cold, but it held no emotion, giving away absolutely no indication of what he was thinking.

Unfortunately for Zeta, Cacao wasn't the most talkative of people. She just stared directly at him, expression completely serious. Without any way to gauge her enemy's ki, she was forced to take her pursuer very seriously. She knew there was a decent chance that Zeta could be as strong as Ares had been, having no way of knowing that there was quite a difference in strength between the two beings.

After several silent moments, Zeta lowered his arm slowly, his left hand re-emerging as he did. "Not feeling talkative?" When both of his hands were at his sides, he turned slightly, so his left side was facing Cacao. "Then perhaps communication through battle is the order of the day." As he spoke these words, he raised his left arm again, but instead of firing ki out of the cannon as he had just done, his entire fist, from the mid forearm down, shot off like a rocket, aimed to plow into Cacao's stomach unless she dodged, which, given the distance, wouldn't be extraordinarily diffucult.

Cacao took a deep breath, watching as Zeta raised his left arm, expecting another burst of ki. Needless to say, she was shocked by the act of the android's fist disconnecting from his arm and rocketing towards her. But instead of dodging, she clenched her fist, taking aim and throwing a powerful right hook directly at the rocketing punch. But she had used her own technique, an powerful MEGATON PUNCH. If it connected, the two fists would likely clash for a few seconds or so before the effect of the technique kicked in and would send it flying back in Zeta's direction at a rather impressive speed.

Zeta was a tad impressed by this little display, and when his own fist was sent flying back at him, he reached up with his other hand and grabbed it out of the air, severely reducing the impact, but still ending up with his own fist hitting him in the face. He shook his head slightly, re-attaching his fist to his arm. "Impressive."
That was all he said, before he resumed his former stance, his left side facing Cacao, looking at her. Raising his left arm once again, he made a 'Come on' gesture, then dropped his arm again.

The hybrid shifted into her own fighting stance, one that appeared to be a rather basic offensive stance. Of course, it really didn't matter, the fourteen year old taking her opponent's bait, firing off a single blast to distract the android. Whether it missed or not, Cacao would follow the blast at top speed, fist clenched rather tightly as she stopped directly in front of her opponent.
She'd go to strike him just as he had attempted to her mere seconds earlier, her fist extending forward to strike the android as hard as she could in the stomach...twice. If both blows managed to connect, she'd pull back and then go for a quick spinning kick to Zeta's face to knock him back.

Zeta sidestepped the blast, but was caught by both of the punches, which doubled him over slightly, and the kick to the face made him leap back. Slowly rising back to his feet, he cracked his knuckles, and then rushed at her at his full speed, which was much slower than her, but given the relatively short distance, it ought to be fast enough. Drawing back his right fist, he swung a punch right for her chin. Regardless of whether or not it hit, he would leap back out of immediate reach again.

After Heater had done lunges into the forest, he stopped, and started looking around. "Huh. Lots of these things...Just like that other time." Then, suddenly, a bear came into view, snarling at him. Grinning, Heater said, "Alright, this should be fun..." Then, suddenly, he rushed at the bear, then, tackled it.

Cacao watched her opponent carefully, having slipped back into her stance as he recovered. Noticing the fact that Zeta seemed quite slower than her, she raised a brow in confusion. She had expected the same speed that Ares had displayed, but was caught completely off guard. The punch connected with her jaw, causing her to skid back a bit, wincing in pain. She taken the strike just to test the being's strength...
And while it did hurt, it wasn't quite as strong as that one kick from Ares had been the day before. She recovered as quickly as she could, immediately rushing forth and throwing a quick jab towards Zeta's gut to once again knock the wind out of him. If that connected, she'd follow that single one up with another punch to the gut before flipping backwards, dragging her knee up on the way back to smash it into the base of her opponent's chin before landing a few feet back.
If not, she'd quickly leap back to get out of Zeta's range.

Then, next time he landed, he aimed a kick at the bear, sending it into another tree. Getting back up, the Bear growled with utmost furiosity. Then, it swiped at Heater once more, but, Heater jumped back to dodge.
